What we collect
- Account identifier: when you sign in, your identity provider gives us an account id. We store an opaque seller id linked to it. We don't receive or store your password.
- Listings you publish: title, description, price, condition, category, the city or area you enter, and photos. We remove embedded photo metadata such as GPS location before storing photos.
- Contact method: the email address, phone number or link you choose for buyers. It is shown to people who open your listing's contact page.
- Reports: the reason and details you give, and your seller id (or an anonymized ChatGPT id if you aren't signed in).
- Technical data: IP addresses are used briefly in memory for rate limiting and may appear in server logs.
How we use it
To publish and display listings, let buyers contact sellers, prevent abuse and prohibited items, and operate the service. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Listings, photos, the city or area, and the contact page are public to anyone using the marketplace. Our hosting and sign-in providers process data on our behalf. Your conversations with ChatGPT are handled by OpenAI under its own privacy policy.
Retention and your controls
Listings stay until you delete them. You can ask ChatGPT to delete a listing, or to delete all your data, which permanently removes your listings, photos, reports and seller record. Copies of deleted photos may remain in caches for up to 24 hours. You can also contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL].
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13.
